Understanding aggregate commitments on term sheets

The aggregate commitments is the total dollar amount committed by all investors in the fund. It represents the expected size of the fund. As an investor, you are a member of the fund, and your investment is represented by your Capital Ratio or percentage ownership of the fund (your investment size to the entire size of the fund).
