Keeping your email address up-to-date is an important aspect of managing your EquityZen account. Whether you need to change your email address for correspondence or to ensure account security, follow these steps and guidelines:
To move forward with updating the email address associated with your account, please submit a formal request through our secure portal: EquityZen Privacy Request Center
Steps to Update Your Email Address
How to complete your request:
1. Click the link above to open the “Update Inaccuracies Request” form
2. Fill in your current account details.
3. In the field labeled "What needs fixing?", please select "Change email address."
4. Under “Data subject’s relationship with EquityZen,” select “Customer.”
5. Important: In the Additional comments (notes) section, please include the new email address you would like to have associated with your account.
Please note: We cannot update your account to an email address that is already associated with an existing EquityZen account. Please ensure the new email you provide is not currently in use on our platform.
Security Step: After submitting, you will receive a verification email at your current address. You must follow the instructions in that email to confirm your identity before we can process the change.
