How to Transfer or Retitle Your EquityZen Investments

You can request a transfer or retitle your EquityZen fund position(s) directly through your account settings. Please follow the step-by-step process below to submit your request.

Step-by-Step Process

  1. Navigate to Account Profiles: Go to the Manage Profiles Page.

  2. Select Transfer/Retitle Ownership: Locate the Transfer Ownership option on your profile settings page to initiate a transfer or retitle request.

  3. Choose Positions & Shares: Select the specific fund positions and the exact number of shares you wish to transfer or retitle.

  4. Submit Request: Review your details and submit the request for review.

Important Guidelines + Requirements

  • All transfer and retitle requests are processed at the discretion of the fund manager upon review of your submitted request.

  • EquityZen charges a $500 fee per position being transferred or retitled.

  • The transfer or retitling process generally takes 4 to 8 weeks to complete once initiated.

  • Transfers and retitling requests may require additional KYC (Know Your Customer) and/or AML (Anti-Money Laundering) documentation from the involved parties prior to approval
